Shades of Green is an exhibition inspired by the breathtaking Somerset landscape that I see each day from my house in Englishcombe, near Bath. I invited a diverse group of artists to my home to respond to this magnificent view, each in their own personal way.
There was no specific remit; I simply asked them to relate to what they could hear, see and feel and I absolutely love the variety of the work that resulted. You may well see references to King Arthur amongst the work, for this is what I have named the magnificent Corsican pine, which majestically holds court in the valley.
The exhibition opened in the Bath Royal United Hospital, where it was very well-received and I am delighted to now bring it to my online gallery. Some of the works are still available so please take a virtual tour:
