Paradise Found: New Visions of The Blackdown Hills - opening this Saturday

After many months of planning and preparation the three exhibition co-curators - Tim Craven, Fiona McIntyre and myself - met on Tuesday for the hang at Thelma Hulbert Gallery in Honiton.


It was wonderful to see the work of 36 contemporary painters, printmakers and photographers responding to the Blackdown Hills, juxtaposed with the work of the Camden Town Painters who found inspiration in this area of outstanding natural beauty over a century ago.

The gallery itself is light and bright and lends itself beautifully as a backdrop to this extraordinary exhibition which showcases the work of 36 distinguished artists. A catalogue of their work and information about the show can be viewed here:
