"Sandra's Salon : my guest artist this week is Poet Suzannah V. Evans'
Join me for an evening with Suzannah who will be reading from her poetry pamphlet Brightwork, written during a recent residency at Underfall Yard, a working boatyard in Bristol.
Suzannah V. Evans is a poet and academic based in the South West of England. She has published poems widely in magazines and anthologies, including the New Statesman and Carcanet’s New Poetries VIII, with other poems broadcast on BBC Radio Bristol.
Suzannah is the winner of the 2020 Ivan Juritz Prize for Creative Experiment and of a 2020 Northern Writers’ Award from New Writing North. Her debut double pamphlet Marine Objects / Some Language was published in 2020 by Guillemot Press, and her second poetry pamphlet Brightwork is now available from the same press.
