A Conversation with The Guardian's Jonathan Jones at BRLSI

In advance of his talk on the 23rd of September at The Bath Royal Literary and Scientific Institution, Andreas Wasmuht and I interviewed The Guardian's art critic Jonathan Jones about his new book, 'Earthly Delights: The Artists of the Renaissance'. Click the video above to watch.

Asking if the Renaissance really marks a seismic change in European mentalities, he takes us on a tour of Europe in the 16th and 17th Centuries, meeting on the way the likes of Da Vinci, Bosch, Bruegel, Titian, Michelangelo and Durer. Jones' book is an expansive history of the Renaissance and a significant assessment of its importance.
